Good to know
Grade pressure can come from yourself, parents, teachers, or college worries. You might feel like grades define your worth or determine your entire future. Social media and comparing yourself to others can make it worse. While grades matter to some extent, they’re not the only thing that matters, and they definitely don’t measure your value as a person.
What can help:
What to know
- Remember grades are feedback on specific work, not on you as a person
- Focus on learning and improvement, not just the letters
- Talk to parents if their expectations feel too heavy
- Put grades in perspective – they’re one part of life, not everything
You are so much more than your grades!
