Pads are soft, absorbent rectangles that stick to your underwear and catch period blood. They come in different sizes (light, regular, heavy, overnight) for different flow levels. To use one, peel off the backing and stick it to your underwear with the sticky side down, centering it where you need coverage. Change your pad every 4-6 hours, or more often if needed. Wrap used pads in toilet paper or the wrapper from your new one before throwing them away.
