Bullying is when someone repeatedly hurts you on purpose – physically, with words, or by excluding you. The key word is ‘repeatedly’ – it’s not just one disagreement or one mean comment. Bullying involves a pattern of hurtful behavior where someone tries to have power over you.
It can include name-calling, spreading rumors, physical intimidation, excluding you from groups, or making fun of how you look. If someone’s actions make you feel scared, anxious, or upset regularly, and they don’t stop when you ask them to, that’s bullying.
