Your teeth and gums are with you for life, so taking care of them now sets you up for a healthy smile forever.
Brush Twice Daily
Brush for two minutes in the morning and before bed. Use a soft-bristled toothbrush and fluoride toothpaste. Don’t brush too hard, gentle circular motions work best.
Don’t Forget to Floss
Flossing removes food and plaque from between teeth where your toothbrush can’t reach. Once a day is enough, usually before bed.
Why It Matters
Plaque builds up constantly on your teeth. If not removed, it hardens into tartar and can cause cavities and gum disease. Prevention is much easier than treatment.
Watch What You Eat and Drink
Sugary drinks and snacks feed bacteria that create acid, which damages teeth. If you have something sugary, rinse your mouth with water afterwards.
Visit the Dentist Regularly
Check-ups every six months catch problems early. Dentists can also clean areas you might miss and give personalized advice.
Protect Your Teeth
If you play sports, wear a mouthguard. Don’t use your teeth to open packages or bite hard objects, you could chip or crack them.
Your Smile Matters
Healthy teeth and gums give you confidence, help you eat comfortably, and prevent pain. Taking care of them now is an investment in your future.
